Brother Frederick has proposed a get together in The Big Easy during the weekend of September 25. There is a home football game against Southern Mississippi on Saturday. Please use the comments section to express your interest or comments.
Also, it might be good to have a couple of people serve as an ad hoc committee to organize some events. Any volunteers?

Being one of the lucky ones-- who still hales from New Orleans-(but perhaps not as lucky as Chet and Robert who call Nassau home), should you decide to have the Reunion Soiree during a football home game weekend, I will make arrangements for a pre-game tailgating party at the Dome. Over the last couple of years, the University wisely decided to concentrate on generating hometown support for our beloved Green Wave and now permits the rental of tents and grills on the open levels of the Superdome parking lot for tailgating parties. The University also springs for the band. So, if and when you decide on the date, let me know, and I’ll take care of the arrangements.

A suggestion for Sunday: first invading an old haunt for late breakfast/lunch (the Hummingbird, or Bud's Broiler), then a beer-soaked afternoon at the levee. Flag/frisbee football would be a great way to see how Dean's knee is holding up. Mike Brown
